The slab of clay has been pushed against the outlines of a kitchen wall, the other smashed against tiles above the stove. Paper crumpled and flattened, taped and still carrying the imprint of the clay it supported. This work reveals the process of literally traumatizing the material it displays. A form that has been shaped not to be pleasing to the eyer or to represent something but to reveal the shape and the shaping itself.
